You were asked

Someone in your family wants to keep health papers safe.

They keep a health file for each person they look after, on WhatsApp. A request came to you: to see a file, or to let them see yours.

Nothing changes until you answer. You can say no, and you can take a yes back later.

What happens

  1. The request arrives on WhatsApp, with two buttons: allow, or no.

  2. It says who asked and for what: to see the file, or to look after it.

  3. Allow, and they see what you allowed. Nothing more, and nothing of anyone else.

  4. You can take it back at any time.

Who sees what

  • You always see your own file. That cannot be taken away.
  • Someone sees your file only if you allow it.
  • Allowing someone to see a file never lets them see anyone else's.
  • A grant is one-way: if you want to see theirs too, that is a second question to them.
  • Taking a grant back deletes nothing already saved; it stops them seeing the file from then on.
  • Every grant, and every time one is taken back, is recorded.

What we won't do

  • We won't show your file to anyone you did not allow.
  • We won't use your number for marketing.
  • We won't decide for you: your doctor decides; the guide only explains.
